I would have to say that I am not the most healthy person in the world.  I don’t know if it is genetic, but ever since I was a child, I just haven’t had much luck with my health.

Though I don’t have any diseases, I am quick to get sick and quite often need medication to get better.  This really isn’t much of a problem while I am at home, but when I do travel it can be somewhat of a nightmare.  It is especially true when you need the services of a doctor, but you are in a strange country where you don’t know anyone.

So when I do travel, I have made it a point to get one of the many medical tourism packages that are available online.  This allows me to have doctors and dentists lined up for me in whatever country I travel to, so that if there is a problem, I know that I am covered.

Sure, I still have to buy travel medical insurance, but otherwise, I am all set.  It makes me feel better knowing that there will be someone to help me out if I do get sick while traveling.
