How I helped my introvert colleague to overcome her vein problems
October 7th, 2008I am a 3D animator working in a company based in Toronto. I joined this company six months back. The work atmosphere is really great and I enjoy chilling out with some of my colleagues during the weekends. I have a good rapport with all my colleagues but have a soft corner for a girl named Fiona. She is extremely efficient in work and has a vulnerable look about her. She tried to avoid coming to the parties and did not want to attend any get together events. Otherwise she was not much introvert. So this seemed to be puzzling to me. One day I asked her the real reason during a coffee break.
Then she revealed that she suffered from inferiority complex because of prominent blue veins in her legs. When I saw her legs I immediately understood it was a case of varicose veins. I read about it in a site named Veindirectory.org. I informed her about some of the reputed vein centers where laser treatments are done. She availed the treatment and that brought an end to her shyness and reluctance to attend parties.
